El secretario de Hábitat y Ordenamiento Territorial de la Municipalidad de Ushuaia, David Ferreyra, habló sobre los operativos que llevan adelante luego de que se reporten ocupaciones en la reserva natural urbana Bosque del Faldeo. “Manifestamos la intención de realizar un desarme consensuado”, dijo Ferreyra.
En diálogo con Radio Nacional Ushuaia, Ferreyra narró: “Ayer contamos con el acompañamiento de las fuerzas policiales y procedimos al desarme de las viviendas donde no se encontraban familias. Con el resto dialogamos y explicamos que es una situación compleja, porque están en una reserva natural y un bosque nativo”.
Según explicó, invitaron a las familias “a que hagamos el relevamiento y constatemos los datos en la Secretaría, como para ver si hay alguna cuestión social. No hemos tenido respuestas y, evidentemente, no es algo crítico en lo habitacional”.
“Ayer había cerca de 20 viviendas montadas. Es un lugar complejo, sobre todo desde lo topográfico. Hay una situación que no es lícita, es una ocupación de tierra municipal. Tampoco debemos olvidarnos que hablamos de familias con situaciones de vulnerabilidad”, siguió.
El Secretario dijo que verán “cómo articulamos la intervención en el lugar. Es complejo desde lo topográfico, no tienen servicios o accesos. Ante situaciones complejas no llegarán ni la ambulancia, ni los bomberos. Frente a este combo de cuestiones, estamos coordinando para ver cuándo haremos la intervención y articulamos los resortes para darles contención a las familias”. “Es una reserva natural, no se pueden quedar”.
Ferreyra también expresó que entiende “la crisis habitacional, la económica y la situación de los alquileres. Las familias nos planteaban que estaban alquilando y es imposible. A eso lo cercioramos cuando termine la intervención”.
“Ayer intervenimos con la gente de Políticas Sociales, por si había alguna situación especial y con la Policía, para desarmar las viviendas sin habitantes. Aprovechamos para dialogar con las familias y explicarles que no se pueden quedar ahí”, continuó.
“También realizamos las denuncias correspondientes, porque es una ocupación irregular en un lugar establecido como reserva natural”. Sobre el estado de las familias, dijo que “en algunas situaciones tienen dónde alojarse y en otras damos contención en el albergue, hasta que resolvamos desde Hábitat. Nunca se las deja sin solución, si no tienen cómo resolver su situación ante un desarme”.
Al mismo tiempo, recordó que “la ocupación es algo histórico en la ciudad. Hemos sido bastante firmes en situaciones con ocupaciones en sectores en los que no está permitido, con espacios verdes o pasos de servicios. Siempre estuvimos presentes, con la colaboración del Gobierno y la fuerza policial frente a los desarmes”.
Finalmente, indicó que “es una situación que se da y se seguirá dando. No descartamos nuevos intentos. Lo que realizamos es alguna tarea de prevención para que en el futuro tengamos algún esquema más preventivo”.
