Javier Milei de La Libertad Avanza es el nuevo presidente electo de la Nación.
El candidato de La Libertad Avanza reemplazará a Alberto Fernández el 10 de diciembre; ganó con casi 12 puntos de ventaja; “desde mañana la responsabilidad de dar certezas será de Milei”, dijo el ministro de Economía.
Javier Milei será el presidente de la Argentina a partir del 10 de diciembre. En un balotaje histórico, que tuvo en vilo al país y que se definió por un margen mucho mayor al esperado, el postulante de La Libertad Avanza se impuso a Sergio Massa por casi 12 puntos de diferencia, con el 86% de las mesas escrutadas. Massa no logró separar su candidatura de la gestión de Alberto Fernández, quien lo había designado como ministro de Economía hace 15 meses para que intente controlar la inflación y la presión cambiaria. Massa reconoció la derrota antes de las 20.10, sin resultados oficiales divulgados.
“Hubo dos proyectos de país. La jornada de hoy ratifica que la Argentina tiene un sistema democrático transparente y sólido, que respeta siempre los resultados”, abrió Massa su discurso. El ministro de Economía se comunicó con su rival y lo felicitó. “Es el presidente que los argentinos eligieron”, dijo. Y agregó: “Desde mañana la responsabilidad de dar certezas es de Milei”. Además, señaló que Alberto Fernández y Milei activarán en los próximos días el traspaso de mando. Abrió la posibilidad de un alejamiento de la política. “Es el momento de nuevas generaciones”, planteó. De esta manera, se abre un interrogante sobre su continuidad al frente del palacio de Hacienda hasta el fin del mandato.
Con el triunfo asegurado, Milei deberá ahora articular un equipo, un discurso y un plan de acción. Además, deberá contrarrestar el miedo que se sembró en torno a su persona y sus propuestas. Construyó su triunfo en Córdoba y Mendoza, pero también en las provincias del sur y del norte, donde el PJ esta vez no pudo conservar su histórica hegemonía. En estos distritos, el libertario no solo que sumó los votos que había obtenido Patricia Bullrich (Juntos por el Cambio) sino también una importante porción de las adhesiones que cosechó Juan Schiaretti (Hacemos Nuestro País). En las elecciones generales del 22 de octubre, Massa obtuvo 36,78% y Milei 29,99%. La cosecha del resto de los competidores fue la siguiente: Bullrich, 23,81%; Schiaretti, 6,73%, y Myriam Bregman (Frente de Izquierda) 2,70%.
La Libertad Avanza cuenta con ocho senadores nacionales, 38 diputados y ningún gobernador propio. En las provincias, Juntos por el Cambio manda en 10 distritos, el PJ en 9 y fuerzas provinciales en los cuatro restantes.
