En medio de la incertidumbre pre electoral.
Aunque se trata de dos hechos ocurridos hace algunos días atrás y que recién trascendieron ahora, tienen ambos en común la estafa a personas que realizaban operaciones en la calle con moneda extranjera. Una fue atacada con un martillo en el rostro y la otra, apuntada con un arma de fuego. Les arrebataron 100 mil y 400 mil pesos.
La gran incertidumbre económica ante un nuevo acto electoral, llevó a gran cantidad de personas a realizar operaciones de compra venta de dólares de manera informal y en la vía pública, valiéndose para ello de las redes sociales.
Uno de esos casos se registró el día jueves 26 de octubre en inmediaciones de la Escuela Nro. 16 “Dr. Arturo Mateo Bass”, en Ushuaia, en donde un hombre acordó con un desconocido, a través de Facebook, la venta de 100 dólares. Una vez en el lugar y mientras realizaba la operación en plena calle, fue imprevistamente golpeado de costado en el rostro con un martillo por otro sujeto al que no había podido ver, dado que lo atacó por la espalda. Los dos jóvenes delincuentes salieron corriendo en distintas direcciones, para luego abordar un automóvil Audi, en el que antes habían arribado.
Radicada la denuncia en la comisaría de la jurisdicción, la Nro. 1, los policías lograron determinar, mediante el análisis de cámaras de vigilancia y testimonios, que los atacantes eran menores de edad.
De tal manera, el Juzgado interviniente ordenó el allanamiento de una casilla ubicada en el Valle de Andorra, en la calle Camino del Valle, en Ushuaia, morada de T. C. P, a fin de proceder al secuestro de prendas de vestir, aparatos de telefonía y otros elementos de interés, con resultados ampliamente positivos.
Simultáneamente se allanó una vivienda en la ciudad de Río Grande, en la calle Santiago Ojeda Nro. 239, lugar de residencia de E. M. P. S., de 16 años de edad y fuerte contextura física, procediendo también al secuestro de ropa y de un teléfono celular.
Otro de los hechos se registró también en Ushuaia, hace unos 10 días atrás, cuando un hombre acordó a través de un servicio de mensajería y red social, una operación de compra venta de dólares con una desconocida. Para concretarla acordó encontrarse con ella en una parada de colectivos del barrio Los Morros.
Al llegar al lugar la víctima vio que en la parada había un hombre, recibiendo en ese momento una llamada telefónica de la mujer con la que había estado anteriormente en contacto, quien le señaló que de la operación se iba a encargar su marido. El sujeto se le acercó entonces y subió a su vehículo, pidiéndole que lo llevara hasta un lugar boscoso en donde supuestamente tenía ocultos sus ahorros. Mientras esperaba que regresara, el conductor bajó la ventanilla, sorprendiéndose momentos después cuando sintió en la sien un arma de fuego accionada por el mismo individuo que le exigía la entrega de los dólares y los pesos – unos 400 mil – que llevaba consigo. Una vez que huyó el asaltante, el damnificado radicó la correspondiente denuncia policial, pero hasta el momento el caso no fue esclarecido.
