Así lo indicó Fernanda Santana, candidata por la Lista Turquesa de cara a las próximas elecciones de la UOM
El próximo 7 de marzo el Gremio que nuclea a los trabajadores Metalúrgicos irá a elecciones para elegir a un nuevo Secretario General que represente los intereses de los afiliados.
Entre los candidatos que se postulan se encuentra Fernanda Santana, una joven trabajadora metalúrgica que se refirió a los proyectos que propone llevar adelante desde la Lista Turquesa, espacio desde el que compite para ocupar el cargo. En caso de ser electa, Santana se convertiría en la primera mujer en ocupar el cargo.
“Nosotros hemos hablado mucho con los compañeros, y sabemos perfectamente lo que hay que mejorar. Salarios, salud, contratación, continuidad laboral y condiciones de trabajo son los temas que más preocupan a nuestros compañeros” enfatizó Santana.
“Llegamos como un espacio nuevo, renovado y joven, que viene a dar respuestas a estas situaciones. Estoy convencida que todos juntos, podemos mejorar la condiciones de trabajo, y devolverle la dignidad al trabajador metalúrgico” subrayó la joven delegada gremial.
En este sentido, Santana se refirió a una serie de proyectos que de ganar la conducción del gremio, impulsarán para su creación. Entre ellos, hablo sobre a la creación de un nuevo centro de Rehabilitación para los compañeros que sufren algún tipo de lesión* producto del trabajo reiterativo que se hace en una fábrica. También propone la creación de un centro Oncológico, tanto para el afiliados como para los familiares, y por otro lado, hemos pensado en la economía de nuestros compañeros y vamos a crear una proveeduría, que vendría a ser una ayuda en cuanto a lo económico de los compañeros».
Por otro lado, la candidata de la lista Turquesa habló de las formas de contratación actual. “Queremos que nuestros compañeros puedan tener previsibilidad en el trabajo. No puede haber contratos por 5 días, o un mes como pasa hoy. Esto es un tema que vamos a trabajar para que se termine” dijo.
Finalmente, Santana invitó a la totalidad de los trabajadores metalúrgicos a cambiar la historia, y que se acerquen a participar de las elecciones. “Nos alegra poder participar de un acto democrático como este. Ojalá podamos llegar a ser elegidos para conducir los destinos del Gremio y de esta manera mejorar la calidad de vida de nuestros compañeros. Nuestros intereses son netamente laborales, tenemos muchos proyectos para mejorarle la vida a nuestros compañeros, en lo laboral y que esto impacte en su vida privada” cerró.
