La reunión tuvo lugar en la sede del CFI, en Buenos Aires.
El mandatario fueguino Gustavo Melella fue parte del encuentro que mantuvo el actual ministro de Economía y candidato a presidente de la nación por Unión por la Patria, Sergio Massa, con gobernadores provinciales de distintos espacios políticos, de cara al balotaje del 19 de noviembre.
El encuentro tuvo como eje la unidad frente a la segunda vuelta electoral del próximo 19 de noviembre, pero además “se definieron acciones tendientes a fortalecer el federalismo, como un plan de obras nacional” – informaron voceros de la reunión.
En un comunicado conjunto acordado en la mesa los mandatarios advirtieron que “la República Argentina enfrenta desafíos de magnitud que sólo pueden ser resueltos por un líder político con experiencia, capacidad y convicción para afrontar las dificultades. un líder que sume, que una y construya y ese es Sergio Massa. El ha manifestado la voluntad política de terminar con la grieta que nos divide impulsando un gobierno federal de unidad nacional, convocando a todos los argentinos de buena voluntad”.
De esta manera los gobernadores ratificaron el respaldo a Sergio Massa de cara a la segunda vuelta electoral, recalcando la necesidad “de promover la unión nacional, afianzar la justicia, promover la educación, garantizar la seguridad y el bienestar general”.
“La Argentina que viene nos necesita a todos unidos, solidarios, garantizando derechos, defendiendo nuestra soberanía, pero al mismo tiempo promoviendo la justicia social. Estamos convencidos de que Sergio Massa es el presidente que necesitamos para lograr estabilidad macroeconómica, crecimiento y desarrollo de nuestra economía con más producción industrial y empleos de calidad para lograr mejores salarios y una justa distribución de la riqueza” se subraya en el comunicado.
Además de Melella, estuvieron presentes Juan Manzur (Tucumán), Axel Kicillof (Buenos Aires), Raúl Jalil (Catamarca), Sergio Uñac (San Juan), Gustavo Saénz (Salta), Alberto Rodríguez Saá (San Luis), Jorge Capitanich (Chaco), Sergio Ziliotto (La Pampa), Ricardo Quintela (La Rioja), Gustavo Bordet (Entre Ríos), Arabela Carreras (Río Negro), Omar Gutiérrez (Neuquén), Mariano Arcioni (Chubut), Alicia Kirchner (Santa Cruz), Gildo Insfrán (Formosa), Gerardo Zamora (Santiago del Estero ), Oscar Herrera Aguad (Misiones) y Omar Perotti (Santa Fe), quien participó a través de videoconferencia.
