El Banco de Tierra del Fuego realizó la capacitación abierta y gratuita denominada “Y a mí, ¿quién me va a hackear?”, en la que los asistentes pudieron interiorizarse sobre distintos tipos de estafas y obtuvieron recomendaciones necesarias para manejarse con seguridad en su vida digital, un aspecto que abarca desde sus redes sociales hasta sus operaciones financieras.
La charla fue brindada por Emiliano Piscitelli, conferencista de ciberseguridad, CEO y co fundador de VHGroup, con más de 15 años de experiencia en la industria que profundizó sobre problemáticas actuales como estafas y engaños a través de internet, seguridad en las redes sociales, uso de dispositivos en forma segura, modalidades de estafas y recomendaciones generales haciendo hincapié en la importancia de las personas como la primera barrera de defensa ante los ataques de los estafadores.
«Los ciberdelincuentes son delincuentes que utilizan medios tecnológicos para llevar a cabo sus estafas. Por eso, debemos cortarles el acceso: no debemos responder a correos electrónicos, debemos finalizar llamadas telefónicas, no debemos responder a mensajes de texto ni hacer clic en enlaces que se envíen por WhatsApp. Si cortamos el acceso, damos por terminada la ciberestafa. De la misma forma que no damos las llaves de nuestra casa a nadie, tampoco debemos compartir las claves de acceso a nuestra vida digital”, ejemplificó Piscitelli.
Además, el especialista reiteró que «los delincuentes se perfeccionan constantemente. Por eso, debemos estar alerta. Utilizan un contexto para crear un pretexto. En el caso de los bancos, nos llevan a hacer clic en un enlace porque supuestamente han bloqueado nuestra cuenta o porque debemos actualizar nuestros datos para continuar operando con la entidad financiera. Siempre hay un pretexto dentro de un contexto, como un pago de ANSES, registrarse en una lista para obtener el IFE, una promoción para adquirir un producto con alta demanda, como las cubiertas con clavos, o incluso durante el Mundial 2022, ofreciendo figuritas a un precio promocional».
El público presente pudo también participar de unas sesión de preguntas y respuestas para indagar en situaciones particulares y tener, así, un mejor entendimiento de la ciberseguridad y cómo protegerse ante los delincuentes.
