La situación de la firma Brightstar es de una incertidumbre total por estas horas ya que no se sabe que va a suceder luego de que los trabajadores regresen del periodo de vacaciones, que cabe destacar, fue adelantado para el 8 de noviembre. “No habría ninguna posibilidad de producción tras las vacaciones”, afirmó Oscar Martínez, secretario general de la UOM en Río Grande.
“Desde el 8 de noviembre se entrará en vacaciones y veremos que pasa después, se está hablando con el Gobierno de la provincia para ver la posibilidad de trasladar la producción de unas notebooks Samsung a esta planta, pero todo esto lleva tiempo. Nosotros estamos a la expectativa de tener una respuesta positiva”, dijo el sindicalista en los micrófonos de Aire Libre FM.
En total son 350 los trabajadores de Brightstar nucleados en los convenios de Uom y Asimra, que actualmente se encuentran en la incertidumbre de no saber que sucederá con la producción en el mes de diciembre. Ante la posibilidad de trasladar algún operario a otra planta, dijo que eso es complicado porque son respetuosos de las dotaciones que tiene cada nave.
En lo que respecta al cambio de rama en Mirgor, aclaró que “la Uom no permitió nada, esta fue una decisión democrática de los trabajadores y nosotros siempre vamos a respetar eso. Esto era voluntario”.
Por último, en relación a la firma Digital Fueguina dijo que una reunión está prevista para estos días donde se podría arreglar el trabajo a fasón para la empresa NewSan, “por el momento, no se habló sobre la posibilidad de volver a la producción”.
