En los últimos días se registró un increíble aumento en muchos productos de primera necesidad, y los medicamentos no quedaron exentos en el aumento de precios.
Las farmacias están en una situación bastante comprometidas, ya que han tenido un importante incremento de precios en los últimos días, los cuales oscilan entre un 15% a 20%. E incluso algunos laboratorios debieron aumentar un poco más.
Así comenzó a reflejar esta preocupante situación Patricia De la Vega, presidente del Colegio de Farmacéuticos de Tierra del Fuego – Zona Norte en diálogo con ((La 97)) Radio Fueguina. En este mismo sentido, añadió que “con el tema de la devaluación, hay un incremento de precios en forma mensual. Sabemos que todo sube de mes a mes”. Sin embargo, resaltó que anteriormente, los porcentajes no superaban el 3,5%. Un panorama muy diferente al de esta semana, que fue del 15% a 20%.
De la Vega subrayó que dicho incremento fue en medicamentos nacionales. Por su parte, con los importados muchos laboratorios se abstuvieron de mencionar cuál fue el aumento.
Patricia expresó que las farmacias son las que se ven muy perjudicadas por subir los precios de los medicamentos, ya que “hubo una falta de sincronización de la puesta en vigencia de estos aumentos, sobre todo cuando se trata de servicios sociales, como en el caso de PAMI”.
Aclarando un poco la situación, explicó que “el laboratorio comunicó el aumento de precios, pero Farma-PAMI no lo tenía incorporando en sus validadores, por lo que las farmacias dispensaban las recetas a un precio anterior, en donde la diferencia era significativa”. Como consecuencia, las farmacias locales perdían dinero. De la Vega comentó que actualmente están trabajando en sincronizar los aumentos de precios.
Ante la consulta de cómo hacen las personas que deben ingerir un medicamento específica o tienen obra social, Patricia comentó que “la gran mayoría tiene cobertura médica, y las que no, hay farmacias que tienen ‘Acción Social’, o sea, que si algún paciente tiene una patología grave, dicha seguridad social tiene una cobertura completa en el medicamento”.
Asimismo, mencionó que en algunas ocasiones, varias personas no llegan con el dinero para poder pagar su medicamento, pero que siempre aparece alguien que les ayuda, incluso empleadas de farmacias.
Ejemplificando algún medicamento de primera necesidad para algunas personas, mencionó que actualmente las insulinas llegan a costar entre $53.000. Sin embargo, resaltó que son muy pocos los que llegan a pagarlas, ya que la gran mayoría de los diabéticos cuentan con obra social, “y es ahí donde las farmacias salen perjudicadas”.
