Un principio de incendio ocurrió en una zona de bosque cercana a la laguna Kami; bomberos voluntarios y de manejo del Fuego concurrieron al lugar y lograron extinguir el ígneo. Fue afectada una mensura aproximada de 10 por 15 metros de bosque y no encontraron personas en el lugar. Ademas otras dos fogatas se registraron en otros sectores de la provincia.
Se puso en conocimiento al Juzgado sobre el hecho y se realizan actuaciones junto con personal de la División Policía Científica Tolhuin.
En otro hecho, informaron a Defensa Civil a través del 101, que ayer un grupo de personas realizaba un fuego en el sector de la hostería del lago Yehuin. Indicaron que en el lugar se encontraba una camioneta Toyota Hilux.
El personal policial del puente Justicia llegó al lugar indicado y dialogaron con Jorge Sebastián Pinto (32) de Rio Grande, propietario del mencionado rodado. Momentos previos al arribo de la comitiva policial se encontraban solo brazas; el hombre fue instado para que apague correctamente las últimas brazas y lo efectuó sin problemas.
Otro caso ocurrido en un sector de la ex hostería Petrel (a 48 km al sur de la localidad de Tolhuin); a través del 101 informaron al personal de defensa civil que una persona estaba realizando fuego. Arribados al lugar, se encontraron con personal de Protección Civil provincial, quien manifestó que alrededor de las 14:00 ya le informaron que en el camping conocido como sector ex antena, sobre la ruta complementaria que lleva a la ex hostería, estaban realizando fuego.
Por tal motivo se recorrió la zona junto al personal de Protección Civil y no encontraron novedad; de igual manera se les recordó a las personas que se encontraban acampando en el lugar, la vigencia de la ley provincial sobre la prohibición de encender fuego.
