A pesar de las afirmaciones del sindicalista, Republicanos Unidos, la versión local de La Libertad Avanza, confirmó que no habrá colaboración con el sindicato gastronómico en Tierra del Fuego.
Luis Barrionuevo, secretario general de la Unión de Trabajadores del Turismo, Hoteleros y Gastronómicos de la República Argentina (UTHGRA), anunció recientemente que se encuentra en proceso de organizar la fiscalización de las elecciones para el candidato presidencial de La Libertad Avanza, Javier Milei, en 11 provincias de Argentina.
En la provincia más austral del país, donde «Moncho» Calderón lidera el sindicato gastronómico y ha mantenido una estrecha relación con el peronismo, no ha habido declaraciones oficiales al respecto aún, a pesar de los esfuerzos realizados por ((La 97)) Radio Fueguina para contactarlo.
La confirmación llegó, en cambio, por el lado de Republicanos Unidos, la versión local de La Libertad Avanza, cuyos dirigentes descartaron una colaboración con el sindicato de Barrionuevo.
Las principales figuras del espacio, Santiago Pauli y Agustín Coto, coincidieron al señalar ante la consulta de este medio que han estado enfocados en reclutar fiscales voluntarios para las elecciones, empresa concluida: confían en tener una autoridad por mesa en cada una de las escuelas de Tierra del Fuego.
De todos modos, mientras Barrionuevo anunciaba su intención de reclutar 200.000 fiscales entre los afiliados de UTHGRA para supervisar la fiscalización en varias provincias, dijo que solo se centrará en el estamento presidencial y no en las listas completas. «Lo que nos preocupa es que esté la boleta en el cuarto oscuro», afirmó Barrionuevo en medios nacionales.
A pesar de las afirmaciones de Barrionuevo, fuentes cercanas a La Libertad Avanza negaron un acuerdo de fiscalización con el sindicato. Guillermo Francos, virtual ministro del Interior de Milei, enfatizó que «la fiscalización es responsabilidad exclusiva de La Libertad Avanza» y que cuenta con sus propios responsables para esta tarea.
La colaboración entre Milei y Barrionuevo, que se dio a conocer el mes pasado en un acto conjunto, generó una gran controversia y, aunque el líder gastronómico expresó su interés en formar parte de la reforma laboral que Milei propone, las tensiones y desacuerdos podrían surgir a medida que se desarrollen más aspectos de esta alianza política.
