La votación de postulantes estará disponible hasta el viernes 4 de octubre, a través del formulario que se encuentra publicado en las redes sociales de la Municipalidad. Los ganadores serán presentados antes del tradicional desfile cívico-militar del 12 de octubre.
En el marco del 140º Aniversario de Ushuaia, la Municipalidad puso en marcha la etapa de selección de Embajador y Embajadora de la ciudad, a través de la votación que se encuentra abierta hasta el viernes 4 de octubre.
La propuesta, que transita su octava edición bajo este nuevo formato, presenta 10 candidatos a Embajador y Embajadora de Ushuaia, donde se resalta el rol comunitario y social de los postulantes.
Quienes deseen participar en la votación podrán hacerlo a través del formulario web que se encuentra disponible en las redes sociales de la Municipalidad. Los ganadores serán presentados antes del tradicional desfile cívico-militar del 12 de octubre.
Vale destacar que la selección de los candidatos es realizada por un Comité de la Secretaría de Cultura y Educación que incluye representantes de Antiguos Pobladores, Pueblos Originarios y diversas áreas del municipio.
Referida a este proceso de elección, la secretaría de Cultura y Educación, Belén Molina, explicó que “siguiendo esta decisión política que dio nuestro intendente Walter Vuoto al inicio de su gestión, la elección de embajador y embajadora ha dado un giro hacia la visibilización de las y los vecinos que día a día aportan su granito de arena por una Ushuaia más solidaria e inclusiva”.
Molina aseguró que “estamos muy contentos de presentar a las y los candidatos de este año, que luego de ser votados por la comunidad, serán parte de la apertura del desfile del Aniversario de la ciudad, llevando adelante la tarea de representarnos durante todo el año”, finalizó la funcionaria municipal.
Candidatos a Embajador y Embajadora 2024
Entre las candidatas a Embajadora, Natalia Escobar es presidenta de la Sociedad Italiana de Ushuaia: Además de ser nieta de antiguos pobladores, es conocida por su rol como ‘La Cantante del Balcón’ donde pone en valor el canto lírico como disciplina además de la cultura italiana en toda la ciudad.
Elsa Beatriz González, licenciada en Enfermería, es reconocida por su trabajo en el Hospital Regional Ushuaia, donde atiende a pacientes pediátricos. Con 27 años en el sistema sanitario, Elsa se destacó en pandemia por su trabajo vacunando vecinos y vecinas a domicilio junto a un grupo de estudiantes de medicina avanzados.
Mary Narváez es fundadora de la Biblioteca Popular Alfonsina Storni. Allí Mary busca promover la lectura en jóvenes y niños, visitando los distintos barrios de la ciudad. Además, es creadora y mentora de proyectos culturales y artísticos como la Compañía de Títeres de la Biblioteca, espacio que obtuvo el reconocimiento del Instituto Nacional del Teatro como la primera de su tipo en toda la provincia.
Amanda Beban, embajadora de la Paz y referente de Paz Austral, realiza un trabajo desde hace más de dos décadas en la Comisión de Antiguos y Pioneros Pobladores. Fue celebrada como ciudadana destacada en 2019 y es integrante de ‘Croatas en Argentina’, espacio que celebra la colectividad del país europeo. Amanda fue docente y directora en instituciones educativas de la ciudad.
Finalizando las candidatas a Embajadora, María José Pazos es integrante de la Comisión de Personas con Discapacidad de la CTA. Su labor busca defender los derechos de las personas con discapacidad y apoyar legislaciones y políticas públicas que favorezcan a este grupo.
Entre los candidatos a Embajador, se encuentra Sergio López, quien a través de la magia ha recorrido los rincones más remotos del país alegrando a los niños, a quienes asiste con colectas impulsadas por redes sociales.
Federico Breden, representante de Jóvenes de la Cámara de Comercio de Ushuaia, es ushuaiense y destaca por su trabajo medioambiental. Hace cinco años que representa la voz de los jóvenes en la Cámara de Comercio de Ushuaia, buscando que las nuevas generaciones sean parte de este trabajo articulado.
Mauricio ‘Pupi’ Rodríguez es actor y profesor de teatro a cargo de Pierrot Teatro, destacando por su trabajo en producciones en toda la ciudad. Además, ha colaborado con grupos artísticos de otras disciplinas para potenciar el circuito artístico local. ‘Pupi’ es conocido por brindar talleres de teatro en el CAAD y centros comunitarios, acercando el teatro a todos los rincones de la ciudad.
Miqueas Quidel es el presidente y fundador de la Unión de Estudiantes Secundarios. A pesar de su edad, Miqueas ha trabajado en darles voz a los jóvenes estudiantes, buscando una sociedad más diversa donde todos y todas puedan participar de la vida política.
Omar Lemul es un vecino que destaca por su compromiso con la ciudad: Fue declarado Ciudadano Destacado por el Concejo Deliberante, y lleva adelante una incansable labor de fomentar la solidaridad y participación activa por el bienestar común.
Se extiende el plazo de inscripciones para participar en el desfile
La Municipalidad de Ushuaia extendió hasta el próximo lunes7 de octubre el plazo de inscripción para instituciones, clubes y asociaciones interesadas en participar en el tradicional desfile cívico militar del 12 de octubre, donde vecinos y turistas se convocarán este año para celebrar el 140° aniversario de la ciudad.
La inscripción se realiza a través del formulario Google, disponible en las redes sociales del municipio. Una vez concretado ese paso, se solicita queden atentos a la confirmación que llegará vía correo electrónico con el objetivo de chequear dicha participación, dentro de los plazos estipulados.
Asimismo, desde el equipo organizador indicaron que ante cualquier duda o asistencia durante el proceso de inscripción, podrán comunicarse al Centro de Atención Vecinal (CAVUSH) mediante WhatsApp al 2901-414037 o al teléfono 0800-666-0889.
