Walter Vuoto cerró el acto de jura de los nuevos funcionarios que lo acompañarán en su tercer período como intendente, relatando pormenorizadamente el domingo último ante el público que colmaba el salón Esther Fadul, cómo ocurrieron los hechos que lo llevaron a denunciar haber sido víctima de espionaje por parte de un policía retirado.
El mandatario municipal apuntó directamente al jefe de Gabinete del Gobierno provincial Agustín Tita, como responsable de verter “mensajes mafiosos” a la vez que le advirtió: “No me arrodillé ante Macri ni ante nadie nunca, y menos lo voy a hacer ante usted… ¡Mejor vaya a trabajar!”. Con vehemencia advirtió que “le están ocultando información al gobernador”, ratificó su convencimiento de estar siendo espiado y perseguido políticamente y dijo que confía en que la Justicia resuelva.
En un acto multitudinario realizado en el salón Esther Fadul, el intendente de Ushuaia, Walter Vuoto tomó juramento a los 12 nuevos funcionarios que lo acompañarán en su tercer período al frente del Municipio.
Luego de anunciar una batería de obras a desarrollarse ni bien pase el invierno, el mandatario municipal respondió a los dichos vertidos en la prensa la semana pasada por el jefe de Gabinete del Ejecutivo provincial, Agustín Tita.
Como se recordará, la denuncia radicada por Walter Vuoto ante la fiscalía por la posible comisión de tareas de inteligencia y espionaje en su perjuicio, desencadenó diversas apreciaciones de miembros del Ejecutivo fueguino. Sobre ellas el intendente refirió: “Tita dijo que vivo en un mundo surrealista y que en algunos momentos es mejor quedarse callado… Yo le digo a Tita que pedirle a alguien que se quede callado es un mensaje cuasi mafioso, y yo que no me callé y tampoco me arrodillé ante nadie, ni ante el gobierno de Mauricio Macri, no lo pienso hacer tampoco ante usted”.
Sobre la acusación de “vivir en un mundo paralelo”, Vuoto respondió con ironía: “En ese universo paralelo donde yo vivo, nos metieron un radar ingles por la ventana sin autorización del Ministerio de Defensa. Un radar que nos escucha, y nadie se hace cargo, donde no hubo una sola renuncia, una sola investigación, una escalada militar de grandes potencias que se podrían haber instalado en el sur chileno o en las mismas Malvinas… Por eso le digo a Tita que con la misma vehemencia que fue a la Legislatura, ¡que vaya a sacar el radar del corazón de Tierra del Fuego!”.
Con plena convicción de que está siendo víctima de una persecución política, el intendente capitalino rememoró el incendio intencional declarado en el mes de mayo del corriente año, poco antes de las elecciones, como parte de ese accionar persecutorio no solo por parte del Ejecutivo sino también por el Poder Judicial: “La gente tiene que saber que en ese universo paralelo en el que dicen que vivo, las investigaciones de los ataques directos que sufrimos no avanzan. En ese universo paralelo, se prendió fuego nuestro galpón de cubiertas, en invierno, con 20 centímetros de nieve y que estuvimos dos días para apagarlo. Fue a dos días de la elección, entrando en veda, y hoy todavía no tenemos ni un avance ni un informe de la Policía Científica. ¡Raro! Los que han prendido cubiertas alguna vez saben que no se prenden fácilmente. En ese mismo universo paralelo, nos hackean la página de la Municipalidad y las aplicaciones móviles de taxis y remises, entre tantas otras acciones persecutorias”.
En el grave momento institucional de confrontación con el Ejecutivo provincial, el titular del Ejecutivo municipal pidió a viva voz: “Lamentablemente hay funcionarios provinciales que no le dicen al gobernador las cosas como son. ¡Díganle la verdad!. ¡Díganle las cosas que están sucediendo!. El gobernador tiene la enorme responsabilidad de conseguir los recursos que la provincia necesita y tiene que gobernar en un momento muy complejo. Y le están contando solo la mitad de la verdad”.
