La política habitacional es un eje central de la gestión municipal del intendente Martín Pérez. Es por ello por lo que, desde hace cuatro años y medio, el Municipio viene ejecutando un conjunto de acciones que en esta oportunidad permiten llevar adelante una entrega de 55 lotes con servicios en la Urbanización del Centenario y en el B° Bicentenario. Son familias que hoy cumplen el sueño de tener una tierra donde podrán construir su hogar.
El acto de entrega fue encabezado por el Intendente de la Ciudad, acompañado por el secretario de Gobierno, Gastón Díaz y la subsecretaria de Hábitat y Ordenamiento Territorial, Florencia Ortiz.
“Veo a algunas familias que han esperado 15, 16, 17 años por algo tan importante como es tener su propio pedacito de tierra en nuestra querida Río Grande. Esta tierra que hemos sabido construir entre todos, cada uno de nosotros aportando un granito de arena, con el esfuerzo del día a día, el sacrificio de vivir en esta tierra tan austral y cargada de soberanía”, expresó el Intendente. En tanto destacó que “hoy logramos que 55 familias de nuestra ciudad puedan llevarse el papel que dice que son propietarios de un pedacito de esta tierra. Que puedan empezar a construir comunidad, organizar un barrio, siempre desde el respeto y la solidaridad”.
“El amor que le ponemos todos los días hace que Río Grande sea una ciudad que siempre va para adelante, que siempre crece, que se desarrolla, que tiene dificultades, pero también un gran sentido de la solidaridad entre vecinos que no se ve en ningún lugar del país”, sostuvo Pérez. Y, a su vez, subrayó que “eso nos destaca como pueblo encontrarnos unidos en comunidad, defendiendo lo que tenemos que defender: nuestra industria, nuestro suelo, nuestra soberanía y nuestro mar”.
A modo de reflexión, Pérez señaló que “la Río Grande de hoy es muy diferente a la de hace años, donde la ciudad apenas llegaba a ciertas áreas. Sin embargo, y con mucho esfuerzo colectivo, hemos logrado lo que somos hoy”. Y en esa línea, afirmó que “cuando empiecen a construir, cuando pongan esas piedras fundamentales en su tierra, quisiera que piensen en la Río Grande actual, pero también en la Río Grande del futuro. Que entendamos que entre todos tenemos que seguir construyendo una ciudad mejor para nuestras futuras generaciones. Que podamos fortalecer nuestro deporte, nuestra cultura y nuestro sistema de salud que es único en la Patagonia”, afirmó.
En su discurso, el Intendente destacó el trabajo realizado por la Subsecretaría de Hábitat y Ordenamiento Territorial, dependiente de la Secretaría de Gobierno. “Cuando asumimos, había una gran necesidad de orden y de soluciones habitacionales. Hoy, luego de un gran trabajo, estamos entregando el lote N.º 250 de nuestra gestión”, resaltó agregando que “el objetivo es seguir consolidando suelo y acercando servicios que hacen a la calidad de vida, para poder dar respuestas más rápidas a las necesidades urgentes que tiene nuestra gente”.
Por último, Pérez instó a las familias “a seguir construyendo lazos de comunidad para que Río Grande siga por el camino del crecimiento”
