Tiene 70 años y se presentó de manera sorpresiva este martes. En el 2000 fue condenado a 20 años de cárcel por el homicidio de su expareja, Eva Falcón. Su abogado sostiene que están dadas las condiciones para la prescripción.
La actividad tribunalicia se vio completamente modificada este martes, luego de que sorprendiera el ingreso al excampamento YPF de Ramón Ángel Abregú, el femicida que logró mantenerse prófugo durante más de dos décadas.
En el 2000, el hombre que actualmente tiene 70 años fue condenado por el Tribunal de Juicio Oral por el homicidio de su pareja, Eva Azulina Falcón, a quien asesinó de cuatro tiros mientras ella transitaba un avanzado embarazo.
El ataque conmovió a la ciudad porque se dio además en un escenario particular: en un consultorio de la clínica privada CeMeP, luego de una persecución que comenzó en el domicilio familiar que ambos compartían.
Por el crimen Abregú fue condenado a 20 años de cárcel (aún no existía la figura del femicidio) y apenas había comenzado a cumplir la condena se fugó de un establecimiento de detención de la Margen Sur, logrando pasar desapercibido durante todo este tiempo.
Abregú se presentó hoy en sede judicial acompañado de su abogado, el Dr. Alejandro de la Riva, quien ya había presentado un pedido de prescripción para la causa y que, ante los medios presentes, sostuvo: “Son 20 años el plazo de prescripción que es el tiempo que logró mantenerse prófugo viviendo en la clandestinidad, es otra forma de cumplir una condena estar escondido”.

Las características del asesinato de Eva Falcón produjeron una conmoción en Río Grande 20 años atrás. Abregú estaba provisoriamente separado de su pareja, aunque en las últimas semanas se había acercado a ella con la intención de reconciliarse.
El día del hecho Abregú acudió al domicilio de Falcón y la atacó con un arma calibre 9 milímetros. La mujer, embarazada de 7 meses, logró escapar con una herida y se refugió en la sala de guardia del sanatorio Cemep, donde su agresor la alcanzó y la remató con cuatro disparos más, según se probó en el juicio oral.
Sin la figura agravante del «femicidio» (todavía no vigente) y sin contemplar el vínculo que los unía, la justicia condenó al hombre por «homicidio simple».
Lo cierto es que -beneficiado por las decadentes leyes argentinas, el femicida gozará de completa impunidad, eludiendo cumplir la condena a prisión que le corresponde.
