El ministro de Desarrollo Territorial y Hábitat de la Nación, Santiago Maggiotti, estuvo presente en Ushuaia para llevar a cabo la entrega de llaves de viviendas a 22 familias de la ciudad. Durante la visita, Maggiotti resaltó la importancia del trabajo conjunto tanto con la provincia como con los municipios, en el ámbito de la política pública de vivienda.
Maggiotti expresó su satisfacción al entregar las llaves de las viviendas a las familias de Ushuaia, “en una provincia y un municipio que han demostrado un compromiso significativo en esta materia”, declaró el ministro. En ese sentido, destacó el compromiso tanto de la provincia como del municipio en la construcción de viviendas, mencionando que se encuentran llevando adelante la edificación de más de mil viviendas en Ushuaia. Asimismo, hizo hincapié en la ejecución de los programas del Ministerio en la zona. “Tenemos prácticamente todos los programas del Ministerio en plena ejecución”, afirmó Maggiotti.
“Trabajamos estrechamente con el municipio y colaboramos con la provincia en todas las ciudades, incluyendo Ushuaia”, agregó. El ministro resaltó que la estrategia de su cartera abarca diferentes segmentos de la sociedad, ya que la problemática habitacional afecta a diversos estratos. “La cultura habitacional atraviesa transversalmente a diferentes sectores. El problema de la vivienda no es exclusivo de un solo sector”, explicó.
En cuanto al desarrollo urbanístico del programa Procrear, que resultó en la entrega de las viviendas a las 22 familias, Maggiotti explicó los requisitos para acceder al programa.
“Los beneficiarios deben tener empleo formal con un salario mínimo superior a dos salarios mínimos, entre otros requisitos. Sin embargo, para el programa Casa Propia, tanto el municipio como la provincia buscan beneficiarios que, en muchos casos, tienen ingresos formales por debajo de dos salarios mínimos o trabajos informales. Para lotes con servicios, las familias deben tener empleo formal con un salario mínimo vital y móvil”, detalló.
Además, señaló que se están desarrollando ordenanzas, especialmente con el municipio de Ushuaia, para abordar el problema de la disponibilidad de suelo urbano. “Uno de los principales desafíos que enfrentan los municipios y las provincias al construir viviendas es la falta de servicios en determinadas áreas. Por eso, creemos y estamos trabajando en la planificación con todas las provincias y municipios argentinos para generar suelo urbano. Nuestra meta es contar con 100 mil lotes disponibles por año para construir 100 mil viviendas anualmente entre 2024 y 2027”, afirmó.
Maggiotti también destacó que están trabajando en la planificación a futuro en Ushuaia durante los próximos cuatro años. Se ha mantenido en contacto con el intendente Walter Vuoto para desarrollar ordenanzas que permitan la creación de suelo urbano y proyectos para la construcción de viviendas para los residentes locales.
“Estuvimos recorriendo en Ushuaia las viviendas experimentales, tienen una zona bioclimática, y son viviendas amigables al ambiente, viviendas que tienen paneles solares, que tienen tecnología fotovoltaica, una construcción distinta en lo que tiene que ver con lo exterior” expresó el funcionario nacional.
Anticipó que a mediados de junio “vamos a estar volviendo a poder inaugurar estas viviendas que van a ser las primeras de la Argentina. Estamos construyendo en tres provincias”. En este programa específico, “Tierra del Fuego va a ser seguramente la primera provincia en concretarse”, según vaticinó.
Reconoció la realidad existente en las ciudades turísticas, donde el turismo tiene un impacto significativo y deja a los habitantes sin viviendas, afrontando costos elevados. Por esta razón, se están llevando a cabo proyectos de construcción en Ushuaia, para resolver esta problemática.
Maggiotti elogió al intendente Walter Vuoto “por su dedicación para resolver los problemas y mejorar la calidad de vida de la comunidad”. Durante su encuentro, tuvo la oportunidad de felicitarlo por su tercer mandato consecutivo y destacó su “compromiso con las necesidades de las familias locales”.
