Desde Bomberos Ushuaia informaron que los daños afectaron casi al 70 por ciento de la casilla. El fuego habría comenzado por el recalentamiento de prendas de vestir que estaban cerca de un calorama.
Personal policial mantuvo entrevista con el hijo de la propietaria, quien dijo que mientras se encontraba en la vivienda junto con su hermano, observaron un principio de incendio, de la ropa que estaba cercana a un calefactor. No hubo heridos.
