La Municipalidad de Ushuaia realizó una nueva jornada de «Zoonosis más Cerca» en el barrio Peniel ubicado en el Valle de Andorra, para acercar los servicios en forma gratuita. El próximo jueves 4, la jornada tendrá lugar en el barrio Bahía Golondrina de 9 a 17 horas.
El coordinador territorial de Políticas Sanitarias, Lisandro Fonrradona contó que «el balance de este encuentro fue muy positivo, dado que hemos trabajado con los vecinos del lugar en distintos momentos, pero no habíamos instalado el móvil de zoonosis en el lugar y eso, significó que la convocatoria sea muy buena».
Allí, el equipo de la Dirección de Zoonosis aplicó la vacuna antirrábica a perros y gatos, entregó antiparasitarios, realizó la colocación de chipeo a los canes mayores a 90 días, y también dieron turnos para castrar a ambas especies
El funcionario municipal remarcó «la importancia de sostener este programa que tiene por objetivo acercar, a todos los barrios de la ciudad, los servicios de zoonosis para contribuir con una tenencia responsable de los animales», ya que «nos alegra saber que siempre atendemos cientos de consultas de los vecinos y vecinas, para que los animales tengan una mejor calidad de vida».
Fonrradona anticipó que «el próximo jueves estaremos en el centro comunitario de Bahía Golondrina, ubicado en la calle de Independencia 1125, en el horario de 9 a 17 horas». No obstante recordó que «quienes quieran sacar turno para castrar canes o felinos pueden hacerlo a través de la página de Facebook Ushuaia Adopción de Mascotas, al correo electrónico dir.zoonosis@ushuaia.gob.ar whatsapp (2901)503170 y vía telefónica 15608089».
