LA MUNICIPALIDAD DE USHUAIA REALIZÓ UNA INTERVENCIÓN TEATRAL EN EL MARCO DEL DÍA INTERNACIONAL DE LAS VÍCTIMAS DE DESAPARICIONES FORZADAS

La Municipalidad de Ushuaia, a través de la Secretaría de Políticas Sociales, Sanitarias y Derechos Humanos llevó adelante una intervención teatral en el marco del Día Internacional de las Víctimas de Desapariciones Forzadas.


Al conmemorarse cada 30 de agosto, por resolución de la ONU, el día internacional de las víctimas de desapariciones forzadas, el equipo de Derechos Humanos de la Municipalidad, participantes y coordinadores del taller de Juegos Teatrales del CEPLA-El Palomar visibilizaron la problemática con una intervención que tuvo lugar frente al Centro Integrador de Políticas Sociales, sobre la calle Kuanip.


Participantes del taller de Juegos Teatrales vistieron de negro, con vendas negras en los ojos, tapabocas y consignas alusivas a la fecha; entregaron material informativo sobre derechos y procedimiento y se instaló un stand de la asociación Ushuaia Anda Leyendo, con el fin de promover la lectura e información certera, además de lo simbólico que resulta ese día en particular.


El subsecretario de Desarrollo Comunitario, Pablo Pérez, indicó que “el objetivo fue conmemorar a las víctimas de desaparición forzada y realizar una fuerte promoción de derechos”.


“La intervención que se hizo busca visibilizar los derechos que nos asisten a todos los seres humanos y que son vulnerados en los casos de las personas desaparecidas forzosamente, por eso la entrega del material también permite brindar información para prevención de este tipo de delitos”, explicó.


Pérez adelantó que “realizaremos otra intervención el día miércoles, en San Martín y Fadul en horas de la tarde para continuar visibilizando esta problemática y desde la Municipalidad seguimos trabajando en garantizar derechos para cada vecino y vecina y reclamando por las personas víctimas de desaparición forzosa”.


En consonancia con el Instituto de Políticas Públicas en Derechos Humanos del MERCOSUR (IPPDH), la Municipalidad de Ushuaia destacó el derecho de las víctimas y de la sociedad en su conjunto a conocer la verdad sobre las circunstancias de la desaparición forzada, la evolución y los resultados de la investigación, la suerte o paradero de la persona desaparecida.


La actividad es parte de las acciones que necesariamente deben realizar los Estados para la promoción de derechos y el compromiso asumido para la instrumentación de políticas y medidas adecuadas para su prevención, la reparación a víctimas y la sanción a los responsables a fin de que esta grave violación a los derechos humanos no quede impune.
